Sector 7 Collapse

The arcology fails floor by floor. Someone is still inside.

Overview

Commissioned by Rust Lantern Press as the opening arc of their arcology-collapse anthology, Sector 7 Collapse follows a maintenance clerk who rides the failing elevators down through thirty floors of evacuation — carrying a server core nobody will admit to ordering.

The visual system is brutalist: crushing concrete geometry, tiny human figures, and cyan emergency light as the only honest color on the page. Panels tilt as the building dies, until the final spread goes fully sideways.

What the project held

  • 32 pages of sequential art for a publisher anthology
  • Brutalist environments with cyan emergency-light palette
  • Tilting panel grids that collapse with the building
  • Cover art plus three interstitial illustrations

Concrete doesn't scream. That's what makes it scary.
