Fever Index
Star-charts for a voyage no crew survived to log.
Overview
Fever Index is a trilogy of cosmic-horror zines, each one styled as a recovered document: a star-chart, a ship's log, and a quarantine notice. Together they chart the Meridian voyage — a colony ship that arrived at its destination with no crew and a full pantry.
Violet and indigo carry the whole series, with metallic spot inks on the covers. The lettering degrades as the voyage does: clean captions in issue one, hand-scrawled marginalia by issue three. A cosmic journey told through paperwork.
What the project held
- Three 16-page zines forming one recovered-document arc
- Violet/indigo palette with metallic cover inks
- Degrading lettering system across the trilogy
- Numbered poster edition, run of 200
